When you say it can cut a razor flush finish. Are you saying that jump rings won't need any filing at all because the two edges will meet up perfectly? Answer:
The no edge bevel, no 'pinch' cutter operates light two razor blades coming together. The two sides you cut will have no pinches or nicks so they should fit together perfectly.

Are they suitable for cutting silver wire? Answer:
These cutters will cut sterling silver as well as copper. They will not cut hard wire such as stainless steel, without being damaged.

I've just looked at my own Tronex cutters and they are the 5513 model and they don't cut buy razor flush because the two sides cut do not fit together perfectly. One side is somewhat straight but needs a tiny bit of filing and the other side has a bevel on it and needs loads of filing. In fact, normally when I'm making jump rings I cut it once, then I have to turn the cutters around to cut the other side again so I have a smidgen of silver removed in the middle. Then I normally have to do a little filing on each side in order that they fit together. Is this because I've blunted them cutting sterling silver? Answer:
If the cutter is used beyond capacity, loosened at the joint or otherwise mistreated, the cutter many not cut properly. If this is the case, the tool should be replaced or reconditioned.
