DMC Go/No Go Gauges
DMC Go/No-Go gauges are precision inspection tools designed to check whether compatible crimping tools and dies remain within their specified dimensional tolerances.
Regular gauging helps identify wear, damage or calibration drift before it affects the quality of electrical terminations. To perform a check, the crimp tool is fully closed and set to the specified selector position. The green Go section of the gauge should pass freely through the crimping area, while the red No-Go section should not pass completely through. If the No-Go section passes, the tool is outside its specified tolerance and requires attention.
DMC manufactures individual gauges and multi-gauge sets for a wide range of crimping tools, including AF8, AFM8, MH860 and interchangeable-die systems. Selected gauges are manufactured to M22520 requirements, with round gauges manufactured for indent crimp tools, flat-pin gauges for hexagonal cavities and stepped gauges for multi-cavity tools.
DMC Go/No-Go gauges are commonly used by aerospace technicians, avionics engineers, defence manufacturers and cable assemblers.
